Yoga classes have been offered in Boswell Hall since 2006, thanks to the support from RDCK grants and the Boswell Memorial Hall Board of Directors.

Melina Cinq-Mars has been teaching Hatha Yoga in the Hall since 2004. She is a highly skilled instructor who leads gentle, multi-level classes with lots of stretching, strengthening and balance exercises to augment yoga postures. Classes are built progressively so participants can modify. Melina offers as many variations as possible to provide all-level classes to all participants, regardless of age, gender, past or current injuries.

You can expect some breathing exercises and variations of yoga postures, completed by a beautiful final relaxation in each class. All who come to class leave feeling relaxed and restored from the far-reaching benefits of yoga as an important component of a comprehensive health and fitness program.

Yoga classes are held at Boswell Hall on Thursday mornings, 10:00 – 11:30 at a cost of $10/class. If interested in participating, please contact Merilyn Arms (250-223-8058) armsmh46@gmail.com or Melody Farmer (250-223-8443) melodick.farmer@gmail.com.
