Since the early 2000s the Boswell community has organized a very vibrant carpet bowling league. Between October and March we meet Wednesdays at 2PM and play 2 games. At the beginning of the season locals interested in the sport are divided into teams. Those that want to come once in a while or just try it out will be put on the spare list and be assigned to a team in need of a player for the afternoon.

The game is similar to curling; instead of 8 rocks there are 8 bowls, instead of a sheet of ice there is a carpet, instead of a house there is a small jack. We are a  slightly competitive, very social group that have a lot of fun.

Cost is $2 per outing.
